Our rebuild department offers two component rebuild classifications. The first of the two classes is what we call a Rebuilt unit. A good Rebuilt differential has been disassembled, inspected, and repaired with the needed parts. These units are then reinspected for quality workmanship and painted black. The gear work is then coated with anti-rust for protection. These black Rebuilt units carry a 90 day warranty.
The other classification is what we call a Reman unit. These units have been disassembled, inspected, and repaired with new parts. Each part has been cleaned via bead abrasion and has met quality inspection before use. Every bearing and race is replaced. The unit is then given a final inspection for quality workmanship and finished in red. At World Truck Parts and T.H.
